I am a Commando and I believe I can get two more sections of a class tree. What should I go for if... I enjoy slashing? Would that be Militia or Crossbowman? Thank-you for your time and patience to read and answer my question.

Yes on militia and xbow. It will raise shielding as well as slashing to the highest possible- 8. Being faster with athletics isn't all that important given you can't kite well anyway.

If you get 1 in both, it raises shielding and power strike to the highest possible, and it allows you to use throwing weapons you find
