WTK: Full Defender Armor. - Tarimoth - 08-04-2013 ¡Want to Discuss! This topic is for discussing the newly added house craftable, the Defender Armor. It is relevant in the Trade section because it's purpose is mainly to inform and discuss prices, and to keep information on this armor posted (possible buyers/sellers). Anything from how useful it is (difference from trans armor..?) and if it's worth the price to how you get 200-something-lumps, not to mention scales and HM can be discussed here. The full suit will give the following stats: Head armor: 67 Body armor: 88 Leg armor: 59 For your comparison: ___________________________ The materials needed amount to: 100 Silk 226 Strap 230 Armor Plate 40 Scales of Fafnir 35 Oil of Velentr 10 Ink of Life 6 Phoenix Feather 1 Relic Fragment 40 Oil 100 Dye 45 Skull Fragment 5 Sulphur 10 Perfected Metal 8 x Black Steel 60 x Metal 60 x Steel Which I have simplified into the most basic mats (aka lootables) for my own use, and might as well post here: 250 small lump of lead 85 water of hvergelmir 40 scales of fafnir 15 sulphur 1138 heavy cloth 960 hardened metal 510 sturdy wood 728 metal/2184 bent swords 450 cloth/1350 old boots 550 bone dust 236 coal 173 shade ore 90 chain 600 nem flower 550 spurn berry 170 hydra leaf 6 phoenix feathers 1 relic fragment 880 quality candle 330 quality charcoal 346 fine needle = 6 538 900 gold Crafters needed: Level 26 Defender Level 15 Alchemist Level 12 Blacksmith Level 12 Armorsmith So. 250 lumps. If you have anything to share on this topic= feel free to post! Who will be the first to craft it? Will it be a combined effort of an entire house that does the trick, or do we have the world's greatest grinder somewhere? Good luck crafters! Re: WTK: Full Defender Armor. - CookieMonster - 08-04-2013 Hi, I already crafted the Defender Helm, Boots and Gauntlets and I can tell you that it makes a hell lot of a difference in my opinion. I've also noticed that your list of simplified materials is quite different to K4mi's Spreadsheet which i used to craft my gear and that the fearsome has 69 points not 65. Hope this was helpful in any way and I think I would want to craft this amour as every point in armor is better as well as it looks bad ass. ![]() Re: WTK: Full Defender Armor. - vovgre - 08-04-2013 Fearsome is +69 And it looks better ![]() [Image: 1365421190-clip-7kb.png] Re: WTK: Full Defender Armor. - Drunken Monkey - 08-04-2013 If you ask me the defender helmet fits the armor more than the fearsome... Re: WTK: Full Defender Armor. - CookieMonster - 08-04-2013 Plus it lets you show off your EYES AND BEARD Plus they made the belly look skinnier than it was so yeah im gonna make it in a year or two LOL Re: WTK: Full Defender Armor. - Tarimoth - 08-04-2013 (08-04-2013, 11:41 AM)vovgre link Wrote:Fearsome is +69 And it looks better Thank you for info, used Senni's legendary thread for fearsome's info. I did wonder at the bad stats. Will correct. Transitional Armors. And I personally do not like the view of armor. Transitional Armors looks much better. It is better to buy VGS or AGS, and etc. But if you have a lot of money, and you have all the weapons, you can buy it. But if you are not very rich, do not sell all their belongings for this armour ![]() Re: WTK: Full Defender Armor. - Tarimoth - 08-04-2013 I must admit, just like with the native Plate Armor, I bloody love the ugly, heavy armors. I believe that is just how they should look, cloth&colors be damned. If it makes you look fat, I love it all the more! Mighty's what I call it. That being said, it's more than a few effin pennies |
