Some players may be going to respec a character to commando just to reach this hero class. I would say more shielders instead. Shielding skill of 8 is sufficient is most cases...

So only this hero class is discounted? My character page reads:

Commando > Hero
Class Points: 13
Melee XP: 300000
Ranged XP: 0
Gold: 100000
Bossculeur - 52 Royal Guard
Fafnir - 52 Marauder
