Ive played many of the total war games and when I feel as if the regular game lacks energy i look up some nice mods.
For Empire
arthmod,American Civil War,Imperial Splendour,and Additional Units Mod
Darthmod is a complete overhaul of the whole game adds new units,sounds,textures,realism,and a more realistic and indepth economy.
American Civil War is a mod about the civil war of the US.You can play as the Confederate or the Union. Muskets are very effective at long range and the battles can get intense at some points.
Imperial Splendour adds realism just like darthmod but also adds new units and factions standings etc.
Additional Units Mod adds a ton of new units to recruit for all nations.
For Napoleonarthmod
Darthmod Napoleon is just kind of like the darthmod for empire it adds various thoings to the game.
Rome Total War:Rome Total Realism (RTRVII)
RTRVII is a realism mod for rome total war that not only adds realism,it changes the playable factions and economics of certain cites/towns.Many new units are also added.
