True this, about gauntlets. You get the same +2 body armour upgrade for much cheaper, so gauntlets first, chest later.

 Except the fact that Marketplace is 60 body and SHL is 68 lol but ok guys you got me.

I'm still going to suggest hourglass < SHL or striped < plate mittens

I actually meant the +2 body armour upgrade that you get MOSTLY from one level of upgrade in gear,
SHL/Stripped > Trans > S.Halfplate/Heraldic Trans and
Hourglass > Plate Mittens > Swadian Gaunts > Defender Gaunts > Studded Gaunts.

But yeah, you're right, going from marketplace chest to SHL/Stripped gives +6 and is defnitely the must do.
