Yeah but if you upgrade it though....in theory it would be 68 cut...which is damn near a durendal. Although just shorter. This is fine for a run around weapon for say a legio. This weapon is not meant to be a BIS weapon. It's an orange and there will always be better weapons. So why the complaints. There's nothing wrong tbh.

The upgraded Dwarf Axe is 71c 107 speed 90 long.

The upgraded Vgs is 71c 99speed but its 49 longer than the axe at 139.

The upgraded Ags is 74c 95speed and even longer at 154

Forget about model and price here out of the 3 what would you rather?

If its dwarf axe I'm very surprised as you have given up being able to slash behind a shielder more effectively just for "fun"



I've said before in 2015 given its size and model i think it's weird its a fast weapon. It's the same speed as pride meaning its the faster 2h for Inf... 

Rather than making it a shorter Vgs i think it needs to be its own thing or just be the shorter ags with more cut and the same speed

The other option is to give all 2h axes crush through so like

Axes don't need to be in the same class as normal swords...
Axes could be the bastard weapon for someone that wants a hammer but at the same time wants a sword. It can do both jobs just not as well.
They can be in between the 2 groups making it do you want a Hammer or Sword or do you want something that can do both jobs. 

Swords will be faster and longer so better for slashing behind a shielder.  
Hammers have Blunt + Knockdown + Better at crush through given weight.
Axes are ok at all given it will have more speed then hammers + more cut than swords + more buffs than swords.

griffon bascinet also was remodeled from grinder helmet (which was a milanese helmet fitting the milanese plate)

now the colors dont match on milanese plates that most people wear their bascinet with.

Grinder/Griffon is a completely different scenario than Dwarf axe as it was once "nothing" so they found a spot for it.

1st tr3 helm for Inf
2nd it was Ranger
3rd Halb
last Leg.

The Grinder was "1st" made into a Ranger helm with the old model then over time changed model and class at the same time as a new ranger helm was added.

Dwarf Axe is not going anywhere in a rush. Being for commando makes sense and to quote a dev "it would be more work to move it then to make a new item for a different class"

The model will not change as its fine. The usability will not change as its fine. The stats are the only thing that can change here.
