What is this?
‘Ironman’ denotes a more difficult version of the standard gamemode or gameplay loop. This is intended to be a difficult group experience; it is aimed to recapture the feeling of being a new player, or playing a reset with harsh restrictions. We are meant to suffer.

‘Ironman’ Participation Rules:
1: ‘Ironman’ characters need to remain in the ‘Ironman’ house at all times. If a player leaves the ‘Ironman’ house, they cannot return.
2: You may only trade with other players in the ‘Ironman’ challenge and house.
3: You may not use the auction hall.
4: You may not trade items from any other characters to your ‘Ironman’ character.
5: You may only have one ‘Ironman’ character.
6: You are not allowed to participate in any events, unless it is an ‘Ironman’ only event.
7: You must only play with other ‘Ironman’ characters. This means that you must only play on the 'Ironman' server (currently NI_EU_Ironman).
8: All characters must be named with this format: “Ironman_(your name)”. Use the standard Swadian flag.
9: If you loot a legendary, it cannot leave the ‘Ironman’ character or house. It is your choice to keep it or loan it to the house for others to use.
10: You are only allowed to play a gamemode on its accompanying map set. This means no mixing Beginner/Normal/Hard/Rag and Cav gamemodes and map pools.

You are still beholden to all of the existing NordInvasion rules.

Note: Breaking a rule gets you kicked from the ‘Ironman’ house and you are not allowed back inside under any circumstances.

How to Join:
Apply to the house by speaking with Never (Discord: neverito). We reserve the right to deny any person for any reason.
If accepted, create a character using the correct name format, and you will be invited to the house.

Notes:
Crafting: Shared resources will be pooled on the character ‘Ironman_Bank’. This is a shared account that everybody will have access to. Personal crafting and house crafting is done democratically. This will taper off once we become more self-sufficient.
We are utilizing an EU Normal server for this. It is passworded so as to allow for an environment for Ironman players to play without being “boosted” or “carried”. Given how there are four of them, it most likely will not be missed.

Official House Banner Update Pack

This is the official staging ground for house banners. Each time NordInvasion is updated, the banners are pulled from here. You can also download the latest banner pack ahead of time if you don't want to wait for the next NordInvasion update.

Note: Since this is a patch to NordInvasion, if you have any bugs with it, post them here first! Do not report them to the devs! If you still have problems after going back to the "official" banners from the last NordInvasion update, then you can make a bug report in the help section.

Banner Guidelines [Source]

No copyrighted images
Nothing inappropriate (ex. profane words, nudity, explicit/offensive symbols, etc.)
Attempt to make it look like a proper banner, not just an image formatted in a banner shape. For example use the cloth layer style as a template to build upon when making a banner.
House must be an official house on the House Index (as the Index is not really kept up anymore, this is not really a rule right now)

Note: A recruitment page would be nice too, so that I can see that your house is still active and has an acceptable number of members.

How to Install

Go to {Warband installation folder}/Modules/NordInvasion/Textures (make sure you are in the NI mod files and not the Warband native texture files)
Make a backup of banners_a.dds through banners_g.dds
Download the latest version of the banner pack (download link below)
Copy over the texture files to the folder specified in step 1. You are replacing banners_a.dds, banners_b.dds, banners_c.dds, banners_d.dds, banners_e.dds, and banners_g.dds. Note that banners_f.dds, banners_default.dds, and banners_kingdoms.dds should remain unchanged.
If you were running NordInvasion while doing this, restart it (textures only load at the start of the game)

Note: You can download the individual banner sheets or download the .zip from the upper-right corner of the Dropbox page. There are also preview images in the BannerImages folder but make sure you don't try to replace your .dds files with the .png preview files.

Note: Warband doesn't load banners in banners_f for player selection so they can't/won't be changed.

Common Issues

All emblems have grey stripes on the right and left side. That's there in Native and is a bug in the Warband graphics so it won't change here.
The back of heraldic mail is the same as the original banner position's color. This was an issue with the base NordInvasion textures as well. It is known how to fix it but requires changes to game files other than textures which is not in scope of this pack.
An asterisk (*) in the banner map means the slot will be replaced due to inactivity. If you are a leader of a house that has been marked inactive and would like your banner to remain in-game, please contact me. If a house is removed from the Official House Index, that house's banner will likely be marked as inactive on the banner map.

Hello folks,
Now that Doctor_Death is completely without chance of returning to NI, I've taken it upon myself to fill his role of maintaining this thread! It's a near complete copy of the last one, bar a few changes.

This is the House Index of Nord Invasion, showing all houses currently (and some not so currently) active, and all information regarding them. Feel free to apply your house to be added to the index; as long as your house has a thread on these forums, or perhaps its own forum, you can apply by filling in the form, found a few lines below, in this thread, not in a PM to me.
