Hi

I love the updater on my PC, but on the MAC I have to download the archive every time. Any thoughts on a MAC version?

Hi, I just want to report a bug, a small one, but still something I wanted to share.

When I opened the updater, a message told me to update the updater itself first, but when I try that, nothing happens.

But when I said no to the updater-update, its asked me for the Nord Invasion update and that went smoothly, so yeah, no biggie, just wanted to share this.

Do you need something from my updater log file?

Warband Module Updater - Open Source Project

The module updating tool written for NordInvasion is now open source. The ultimate goal is to make a robust updater which can be easily modified for use by any Warband mod to distribute updates.

If you would like to get involved in the project, you can find all the code on GitHub and discuss improvements, features requests, or any other suggestions here in this board.

This is still a relatively new project so if you have suggestions about how to make contributions easier, feel free to make a post or send a PM regarding that aspect of the project also.

A few things currently on the to-do list:

- Add error handling for when main.bmp is not a valid image.
- Improve SSL handling so that single certificates can be included rather than a full library.
- Better notify the user when updating is complete.
- Reduce the false-positive detection rate by AV software.
- Make downloading files as fast as possible on whatever bandwidth is available (do not overstep and bog down the whole connection, though).
- Add more translations.
- Cleanup the more amateur bits of my Python code.

Hello Nord Invasion team, thanks for making one of the best mods for M&B ever ! I started playing this some years ago, and now Im back again, and very pleased and surprised to see that it is still being updated and maintained !
That being said, I just want to report, that the automatic updater did not download 1 last file for me. It kept saying "There was an error downloading 1 files".

and in my updater.txt it says:

Did anyone else's auto updater get flagged as a high severity virus?

As the title says, it stucks at (0/0) Downloading: hash.txt

But I got the file so i dont know how to solve it :/

Hi there,

Just started to download the recent 0.7.1 download. I got up at around 150 files until it started giving me errors. It happened a couple of times at different files, but this one is an example. This is what is said;

'Downloading Update Failed.

Failed Update: Resource\NI_Senni.brf

Please contact a developer on IRC.'

One of the previous files was a music one from memory. Also - when I watch the download, it says 'Not Responding' at times. I tried closing everything else so it's running alone, but still persists.

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit

Steam path is: C-Drive\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Mount&Blade Warband\Modules\NordInvasion

Hope this information helps, and hope someone can help me out

So, I am currently having trouble with this Updater...it wont go to the right files, and when I try to put it in the right files, it wont let me....

NordInvasion has a new updater. It ought to simplify the process for keeping your game up to date. If you do however run into a problem then please submit a new topic with the following information:

- Your Operating System (eg: Windows XP 32-bit, Windows 7 64-bit).
- Any error messages you see on screen.
- The contents of your log file. This file is automatically created in the same folder as the updater is being run from. It is called ni_updater.log. Either attach it to your post, or copy the contents in between code tags.

If you do not submit this all then we cannot help and you will be required to produce them before we provide assistance.

Please follow the format below:
