Use this thread to discuss the official PvP events.
This is gonna be testing event for PvP game mode. We will have DM mode and a Deathmatch map 1. We'll split in 2 teams 5 mins before start and have 1 captain per team.
1 team will be defending one of the selected towers, other team will be attacking. Attacking team wins when all defender on tower are dead. Defender team wins when time runs out ( game time limit will be 25 mins, with about 3 mins of preparation time). After first game we will swap attackers and defenders and try again. We'll have max 50 ppl (including admins and devs ) so apply if you wish to join, we can't promise spot on event to those who don't apply or apply too late.
A TDM game mode would be much easier to begin with.

atm TDM game mode doesn't work in NI
What about the Siege-Mod like in Native, does this work?
any game mode that requires 2 teams doesn't work
I assume we can use this as feedback for the recent test event? If so, the main problem was the spawning. After the defenders started dying they spawned right in our camp and it turned into a massive scrap. Is there a way you can differentiate the spawning for the two teams?

Not really because we can't have TDM guess you can move the spawn points?
Also is there anyway you can add different tags to players? Like if they're wearing this/using this banner can spawn at this spot/not hit his team mates? Or is that a little too far fetched?
I saw a DM map a while ago for a gamemode that wanted people to split up into 2 teams. There was a seperate, common spawnroom, with tunnels towards either end of the map. Any players caught spawnkilling or going through their opponent's tunnel were slayed. That might be an easier solution.
The event was fun and I was happy to see that people seemed to enjoy. I hope to see these events in the future and hope to get a spawn system worked out.

This was one of the solutions i had in mind, but instead of tunnels we could just use teleporters.
