VLKA was started almost by accident. We were a bunch of Aussies who hit level 39 around the same time and figured that working together was the best way to get further on the maps. Since we were really terribly poor (we had less than 100k between us when we founded the house) we decided to pool our resources to get better gear for each other, something we continue to do.
We wanted a house that could function as a home for top tier players who wanted to go further. Since we got started, we demonstrated what teamwork and cooperation can do. We have members from just about everywhere. In fact many of the best additions to our house are from overseas so that now, while still doing our events on an Aussie server we are a global NI house.
We all get along really well and it's bloody hilarious to listen to the stuff that gets said on teamspeak with us.
So I would have to say that we exist for all of the above.
