I usually try to use EU servers for events because I don't want to take away a server from NA, as NA only has 2 normal servers and I generally go for normal events. Also, while I am awake the EU servers generally aren't filled (maybe one or two of them are in use). I do agree that we need more NA servers though. At peak hours, I'd have trouble joining a game if I weren't an Admin.
