You can't say that something would change something in some way. You have no proofs. I think it would look more like Full Invasion. NI takes an action (I think so) in Calradia, in fantasy land of brutality and blood. Re: New class - I feel like something's missing. - Kameltreiber - 23-08-2013 i also didnt say the gameplay would change i said the game would change. different armours, weapons, bla bla different games/mods Re: New class - I feel like something's missing. - TheFirePike - 23-08-2013 (23-08-2013, 12:03 PM)Kameltreiber link Wrote: mount&blade warband and NI is based in the middle ages <-- no firearms have been used (ca.800-1400) not in the renaissance or even later(ca. from 1400-1600) man! and its no fantasy game with witches and dragon or something like that."....or even later(ca. from 1400-1600) ..." thats wrong america was discovered in the 15th century with fire weapons! Re: New class - I feel like something's missing. - Kameltreiber - 23-08-2013 thats right america was captured/discoverd at the END of the 15th century (1492) and thats the renaissance and not the middle ages. and firearms was first used in europe at the beginning of the 15th century which is also renaissance.(real firearms not the one for siege i mentioned before) and i meant warband is based in a time that lasts till 1400.(this time is called middle ages if you didnt understand my first post) Re: New class - I feel like something's missing. - Maroon - 23-08-2013 (23-08-2013, 12:37 PM)Khalidov link Wrote: So please, don't try to say that NI is realistic. There a difference between no fantasy and realism. Yes, being able to fight a Norse god is beyond realism, but to add a magician would throw it way further in the fantasy section. And you don't need proof for everything, simple reasoning can tell you the game will change a lot if you were to add magicians, just like it would if cav would come back, because the entire balance of the classes, Nords, weapons and armor would need to be redone. Re: New class - I feel like something's missing. - Senni - 23-08-2013 No magic. No guns. Alchemy is a far as we stretch the fantasy front. Gun wise, I'd leave before we implemented them. (I like gun games, but I don't like guns in medieval games) Pretty sure most the Dev team feel that way. I'll have a look at the rest of suggestions. Re: New class - I feel like something's missing. - Punishment™ - 23-08-2013 Because explosive barrels existed in the western medieval period : ![]() Re: New class - I feel like something's missing. - Pikeman - 23-08-2013 so gunpowder will stay a forever alone crafting mat ? since its only use so far is explosive barrel if im not wrong. Re: New class - I feel like something's missing. - Hypernoma - 23-08-2013 We'll let you stock up until we have enough to blow up the houses of parliament. As for guns... ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh no. Re: New class - I feel like something's missing. - Mystic - 27-08-2013 Maybe making a type of barrel where you can carry 2 x barrels or 3 x barrels like the big ammo crate? Costs double or triple the cost of the current barrel. |
