I like nka's thought of having a shop in which levels of items become available at different fp ranks. Make the items cost gold and see if there is a way to account/character lock them. Would be cool for newer players getting access to fun cosmetics and outfits while also giving veteran players more to go after.

Side not can it be that you don't need Faction Points to make a house as no one likes having a class as leader.

It could be made like a lottery with a chance to get fancy items (don't really know what else items except this crown, we are actually talking about)
This point could be a great one, so owners may be proud of their items they were randomly found

Hmm and that one lottery ticket is 10k or something and everyone's money invested in the lottery will go to 3 persons or something:
Number 1:60%
number 2: 30%
