It got lowered, yes. You should be able to jump over it pretty easily.
I like it so much so I even crafted it finally.
And if you remove 'legs' or whatever they called from these new cade models you will be best 3D modeler in the world.

I noticed that when you spawn in a barrel before a cade, you don't get the E next to you name (which of course you have to be if you have a barrel) until you actually spawn a tome cade. I'm not sure how it works for medics with tomes.
