I don't know if those changes are only temporary, nor am I privy to the Devs' plans, but it was pretty obvious something had to be done. People were jumping like crazy from server to server just to play on Outskirts, or people suicided repeatedly until a map of their liking loaded. Many times when I logged on I found one full server on Hard with Outskirts on, while all the others were empty. And since Admins can join the match even when it's full, there was no point in waiting for a spot to open up when there's already 17 or 18 people on.
Sure, one might ask why the other maps weren't made more attractive, but I guess the Devs have a plan, and until we know the full extent of their plan I would just relax and play with what we have. I mean, c'mon, they don't nerf things for fun. If they do such a thing, then it's for the greater good of the community.
Lastly, a word about legendaries: What would be the fun if they were easy to come by? And you can always save up some mats/money and buy yourself one. Takes a while, sure, but it gives you at least a goal.

Umh.I could say that map updates are awful and I dont like them at all.But I wont say this in cause of knowledge that our cunning devs always have plan.I remember everybody's and my rage when patch 0.4.0 came.And what can we see now?There are more people,more classes,more fun.So let's wait.

I think the changes wouldnt be a problem if the servers would be more stable. You need the 'easy camping maps' at the moment because you cant face many waves on hard in an open battle. I totally agree that prince was too easy to beat on these maps but hard is now impossible to play without planting 5-10 heavy cades, using some barrels and so on.

I guess we should have different maps at hard and normal.
Normal maps shouldnt be too hard to play but bit harder than before while Hard maps should have at least 1 camping spot.

I try to do them once a week on a weekend.
For the moment they are off, until I have either; I proper internet connection or someone willing to host them until I come back.
