You raise some very important points which I believe will be addressed over time. But everyone has to remember that this mod is in constant development. With the rate of updates coming out nowadays. You may see changes which are unpredicted.

My advice to you would be, if you are getting bored with the game then take a break and check back in later. You never know what might have been added or changed.

I'm sure the development team appreciate your feedback though.

The problem with Nordinvasion is the monotomy generated from the single gamemode that has been stuck around ever since NI came out. While Invasion modes are very varied on paper, they only boil down to one singular objective: Kill everything in sight. Even the variety given by the game mode with different troop types and boss rounds do not elevate the eventual killing spree.

The lack of an intelligent AI is another factor to contribute predictability, but even then AI is out of the question for the devs. If certain enemy bots with shields group together in tight formations rather than just rush towards the player or two-handers spread around the player base and attack on all sides, I think it would certainly incentivise the players to be more reactive and tactical.


There has to be more game modes, how many game mods have been forgotten is due to the repetition to what the mods only offer.
Escort modes to Protect a friendly AI from the hordes could be a nice change, siege mode where players have to fall back towards their keep as they fend off the enemy horde in a time limit, escape modes where players have to reach the far end of the map with the enemy getting stronger in each continual wave,  and possibly linear levels to that allows the player to defeat enemies stationed in that particular map and progress to other levels. Heck, even throw in some sandbox modes(without exp of course) to have the players fool around and organize events for their clans.


There is still alot of potential for extra enemy troop types, more variations of spawn and unpredictability. I've yet to see stronger Assassins having an option to spawn on mid air and landing on the players rather than the usual spawn-on-the-back sort.

Half of the maps only have so little spawn points that players find it repetitive to stand near the spawn spot and ahniliate the bots. There should be more radical spawn points, like bots spawning from a mountain, creating vertical fights that can bring new experience to the players.

But of course, its still a mod in development.

Level designs, lack of a vote to change levels and lack of players in hard mode servers is killing this mod for me.  Tack that onto the faltering economy for advanced players, I may be giving this up soon if things do not change.

Reduce the damage of the 2 handed practise longsword, I am sick of losing half my hp to a lucky hit at the first normal round.

Put some clothes on the beserkers, I am sick of seeing so much pale skin. Give them a tan at least.

Since Commandos, Knights, Snipers are the only one who can with knight wave and all waves after it it is necessary to allow loot for players above 39;
sure now people like OneEye will come and say (in other words) that not everone has the right to wear legendary weapons since the first player had a chance to play
at lvl 42 without any lootblock

and i think that some legendaries are just necessary for surviving on hardmode for more than heimdallr wave

maybe hardmode should have other loot than normal mode : so no coal on hardmode and only on normal mode coal drop, sturdy wood... only on hardmode, and the lead as the new coal in hardmode
