As far as I know, NO bows of an kind are allowed on horseback, as of one of the latest updates.

Short bow seems to be the only usable bow on horseback after latest update.

To reiterate, only the nomad bow and short bow are usable on horseback and it is highly possible that the devs may decide to even take those away to take out the final remnants of HA from this mod.
