New engineer/medic profession?

Had an idea in my head of a Sorcerer, or something of the likes. I know it doesn't supposedly fit in with the Swadian type theme or things but you already have wraiths , resurrection tomes etc, it would be cool to see something that could be upgradable that allows you to spawn say, 3 friendly temporary bots, much like how wraiths spawn, by using a Spawning stone for that specific type.

For example a Apprentice type level could only buy say, Swadian Ranger stones, something equivalent to a huntsman, that despawns or just dies after a certain period but fights for a while in the same way the opposite teams bots.

The stones for various spawnings, that would work like barricades or medic boxes and only 1 be used per life, could be alchemist craftables, as they don't have much going for them.

In the higher levels it could progress to things like "Fallen Heroes" stones that would Spawn, still only 3 , Sergeant gear type bots .


I'd be happy to help with modelling and texturing assets for these.

If you're gonna be negative about it might as well provide a reason, I thought it would be nice to see people participating in trying to fight the waves in a different way instead of everyone repeatedly hiding behind Cades.

People who say it's too "Fantasy" for NI, You already have Ressurection tomes, Aurora blades, Wraith spawning etc, Not to mention Alchemists Flaming swords etc.

Allowing spawning of friendly bots just leads to glitching/leeching as it allows players to be asshats more easily. As for cading being the main mechanic, it would be nice to see mobile shieldwalls but that would take lots of rebalancing to work.

It's mostly because Warband has amazing melee combat system and rather mediocre/bad shooting system. Adding another generic ranged class which shoots differently colored stuff wouldn't really play to its strength. Also, I'm pretty sure lots of people are bored with generic warrior/rouge/wizzard crap most of the games take as gospel.

I haven't seen anyone say it is too fantasy yet.  There is no reason for you to go on a rant about tomes and flaming swords (which there are not, by the way... the "Fire Blade" is just a very pretty red metal).

Also, if you did not understand what I said before, I will say it again.  SEARCH FUNCTION - USE IT!
