Haven't played in a while so I didn't realize (also usually play as a commando only). But I don't think the devs should discount adding multiple vulnerabilities to enemies, especially to one that sounds as monstrous as this Son of Fafnir has been made out to be.
As for Punishment's idea for the Son of Fafnir being impervious to normal weapons, it certainly sounds interesting. To avoid making it overly difficult, maybe the rounds leading to this wave could have enemies wielding a weapon like "Shard of Gram" which also inflicts full damage. Then again, a bots wielding two handed swords (aside from Prince) generally don't do much against a decent shield line, so that might not be necessary.
I agree that finding proper armor for the unit will likely be a challenge.
