Mats Become More Common, Prices Go UP!

Just a little rant here. I was wondering why did the prices for mats SKYROCKET! I mean after the legendary dropmethod got changed everything went up. I mean mat drop rate/method didn't change. So why do mats go up? Mats became more common then ever after the patch 0.3.7. ( assist loot ). Doesn't make sense to me. I know people try to sell mats as high as they can, so they make more money. But I think in the end it just hurts everyone by increasing cost for craftables and everything else. Blargh blah argh gah bluh bah!!!

Legendaries become very scarce -> legendaries become tradable for nothing less than another legendary
->Gold becomes pointless for high level players -> High level players become willing to throw any amount of money out for craftables

At least, that's what i understand has happened from the attitudes of players i've talked to.

I think it's alright, if you price even the base mats at a reasonable price, you'll often sale the things off shortly in the same day you put it on sale.
