Well it's easy to rationalize why to play Zweihander. The survivability factor is so much higher than with Marauder that is not even a question (90+ body armor/70+ head armor). For Halberdier the question is a more complex one. In my opinion you should never use other melee weapons than spears with Pikeman in the first place because the advantage of poking behind the cades is too good to pass up. You are not taking valuable slashing positions from other classes if you do this.

So here the Halberdier traits come into play because you can't rely on the shield wall to protect you while you are standing behind the cades. Having more ironflesh and helmet with 57 armor (vs. 50 armor) can be the decisive difference between life and death. It is a matter of playstyle really and how well you dodge. As already discussed Halberdier body armor needs the weight lowered to 15.0-20.0 range and stats boosted about +3-5 all around or giving access of +8 armor gauntlets to Halberdier only.

Guess he means the basically nonexistant advantages that ZWei has over RG. I'd take an RG over a Zwei any day since RG's are just more versatile.
Don't use Rg tho since I'm a Legionnaire enthusiast
