House not working :(

Just started a new house with my friend as captain (ID: 2433307) and on his screen is says he can't do anything because the house is broke, and on my screen I can't do anything because we don't have a captain, I donated 2500g to the house but it didn't change the coffers at all... Am I missing something vital?
