This is far simpler to land a HS with a bow than with a throwing weapon, i would even say that most of the time HS with throwing is luck...
Only solution is that the quest could be achieve in 2 different way with different requesite.
Example :
100 HS with a bow/xbow
Or
10 HS with throwing
(Don't mind the number)
But i don't know if it's possible.
Btw, once you reach Heavy longbowman it's way to easy to HS bots, so it would be an easy quest.
