Computer turns off by itself while playing

Since I started playing NI again my Computer just turns off  after some time when im ingame.
I reinstalled Mount & Blade Warband a couple of times now and I also tried to run the game without Steam but it still shuts down by itself.
I tried almost everything but I couldnt find anything that helped.
Does anyone know a solution?

Sounds like it may be overheating and shutting down to protect itself, Is it a laptop or desktop?
If it is a laptop I can almost guarantee it is overheating and needs a good spray from compressed air through it to remove the dust from the heat sinks.

Well its a desktop but it could be that its dusty so ill try removing the dust. Thank you
