FUN EVENT 9/18/14

[Bolteye]

Hello some may know me and some may not. Im Bolteye a chop 'em up(probably die) crossbowman.
Im going to be hosting a public event on thursday, 9/18/14 @ 8pm GMT. or 4pm EST.

This event will be a just for fun run, consisting of teams of individuals performing as a group to defeat the nords. Dust off those shields and sharpen those swords because Commando is the class to be in this event. It will offer the most survivability and sence we are not cading a shield skill of 6 or above is highly reccommended. Support items of high importance are Medboxes (all kinds), tomes and barrels.

There is no restriction on joining the server with us and you may come and go as you please. But I do ask you be considerate, leave the bickering to regular runs and to GO Charge the 50heavy huscarls that your captin just threw themselves into.

Teams will consist of:
2 designated slash shielders (becuse we all want to)
1 designated slasher( becaide competing with the other slashers for top kills is fun)
1 designated healer ( because its absolutely essential to success)

Durring the event there may be times when teams must act cohessively to ensure safety of the group.
This event is intended for fun only so do not be upset if you are dead and a high tier bot is slain/ or out of range for assist exp.

Of course if you have four members of your house or more you may all join together, be in the same team, all of that.

Please show up in the VK  teamspeak channel 1/2 hour before hand so we can get situated.

I will command this event( not shouting orders) just simply reminding us to have fun and directing where we need teams on a map and such.( otherwise well have alot of wipes.... which we may have anyway.

If you would like to be a captin for the event amd lead a team or have suggestions pm me, post or talk with me in TS( I need 3 captins).

Recommended class for slash-shielder: Royal Gaurd/leigonaire/ hybrid commando
Recommended class for slasher: Zweihander/Commando(with 2hander)
Recommended class for healer: (all) Commando (With medic support)

Lets have a great time and maby even come out with loot

So you're making 4 teams of 4 on one map? Interesting...

Yes just a change of pace and to let some of those people exercise skills they seldom use... such as shielding a space with two teams and flanking the nord wave with the other two. Just overall a good time, slashing, dueling and saving friends and enemys in a brawl. And wouldnt you love to see 18 players charge throwing javs and axes at those pesky ranged waves. Anyone can suggest things to try. Just for this one well try out several maps on a public server (some with multiple spawns) commando teams and maby some other classes if we fall short of 16. Well change leaders and just whatever the concesus is to having fun.
