Warband crashes after Viking Conquest patch 1.02

I just downloaded the small patch via steam. Now if I wanna start warband (NI in this case. Haven't tried another mod yet) it takes some time to load and then shows up the following:

RGL WARNING
Audio system was not initialized correctly. Error Code: 0

If I click on "OK" the error is gone and the game (NI) starts.
But then if I want to click on something on the main menu (Like "Multiplayer") it crashes immedately.

Pls help :'( :'( :'(

PS: Sorry if this post is in the wrong section or so. Don't know where else I should post it.

I usually get this issue if I don't have my headphones or speakers plugged in. Warband can't start without audio systems connected. If this isn't a problem then you can try verifying the integrity of the game or if that doesn't work you could try a fresh install of NI or Warband or both.

I plugged my headphones in again (although they weren't even out :o).
