survival bonuses! that improve team play!

I like the first suggestion, it could be a little less maybe or a chance to get some materials. Like, if you survive Warlords, you have a chance to get some pieces of Metal or Wood or maybe an item such as Battle Axe.

I am sure the devs will pick a suitable amount if they decided to adopt this idea my figures are just a example ;P

I like the idea. As for people hiding and not contributing. Thats what the admin team is here for.
