Nord invasion profile misunderstanding

Hello, I'm trying to help a friend out and we were downloading the client for he could play nord invasion since steam auto updated.  When we got everything fixed and we joined a server, he didn't have any of his items and it prompted him for an activation code even though he didn't change the profile.  How can we fix this for he can get his items back? 

P.S.  He can still log onto Nord invasion website and still has all of his equipment

Make sure his ingame name and the name on the website are the same.
If his name has a space in it, it doesn't work. Try an _ instead of the space.
