This feature is already implemented in the new patch. In the upper left corner the current wave and the waves left until respawn will be shown

Do not discuss the beta with people outside the beta.

Access to the beta forum has been restricted to people who have actually been to one of the beta tests. If you want to get back on that forum, I suggest you sign up an upcoming test, as there will likely be several more.

Several more?  That means the patch will still be awhile right?  I would come to a beta testing event if they weren't right in the middle of my work day.

Honestly, I don't know if/how many there are going to be from now on, and somewhere I think the devs themselves don't know either. From what I last heard, there were some bugs that needed squashing, which will be tested with the next beta test. If more bugs are uncovered in that test, those will need fixing, and another test, etc etc. It could only take one more test for the patch to be finished, it could take 5.

Well.. since it seems the new patch is still long way:
If you join a game in the top left corner there are numbers...
They show how many waves had been cleared. The numbers just don't update while you're in the game.
So if you join a normal run and the number says 11 then it's Trooper (wave 12).
