Hey there,
I wanted to try myself at mapping and came across an obstacle. How do I get past the welcoming popup when hosting a map to edit? Surely there's some way not to have it in my face at all times:
Hopefully someone can lend me a hand here. Cheers!

Thanks Shadow! Unfortunately, I don't have that version anymore, but Julia had a fix for me (thank you!).
After some trial and error, this is the solution:
Open strings.txt and go to line 422 or search for "str_ni_server_base". Replace the following URL (in this case
http://gs.tyr.lan) with
http://gs.nordinvasion.com and save the file. The popup should now be gone and interfere with the editor no more!
PS: I did this in a separate copy of NI. Changes may affect the functionality of multiplayer.

a little bit off the topic but who wants to access older versions of Nord Invasion can download through
Downloads - NordInvasion mod for Mount & Blade: Warband - ModDB. Somehow I managed to put my native save to Nord Invasion save and was able to find developer or non-published items in singleplayer. I might remember wrong but below 1.4 or 1.5 were working for singleplayer.
