About nearly all armors here, you seem to compare weight of better armors with weight of weaker armors which does not make any sense. It is natural thing for sronger armors made of heavy mats to be heavier then armors made out of cloth and fur. Same thing goes for legendary items, tanos legacy is better then other pike helmets so it shoul be heavier. Weight is price we pay for better protection. Only thing that seem right here is what you stated about milinese and velrolen plate.

That. Milanese was introduced after some discussion concerning Legionnaire's ability to kite and it was made light and strong as an exception from the general rule "stronger = heavier". However, I can't see many of them in use, probably due to lack of exchangeability with other inf heros (it's just too expensive to craft one when you already have Heraldic Trans / Swadian Halfplate to use on your RG / Zwei).

I can under stand that most people go with stronger = heavier but and i can see some items on here that have good reasons like a good one a friend pointed out Royal Scale Armor it always going to cost more then Tracker Armor yet i would say they have even stats.

For other things it even more weird like Fearsome,Knight helmet with more weight then Zwei helm and they have more armor  ???

btw milanese is actually 71 body armor, not same as velor.

This is the reason most don't craft it.

That my point buff it so people see it better then half plate/h-trans then it give people a resown to craft.

It's not weird, it's just specification of classes. Zweihander must have lighter gear, becouse of the assumptions this class is in front line of fight.
