"U" chat

The "talk to all" chat has a bug: when you have typed something and you press Esc, the text is displayed in the chat, instead of being erased.

For example, imagine I start typing, but, instead of finishing the sentence, I just want to cancel it, and it ends up being displayed, as if I had pressed Enter.

It does this in every other mod I've played that has a U chat, and I'm not sure if there's a way to fix it. The only solution I've found is just erasing everything you were typing

I believe this isn't necessary to be worked on, as all you need to do is erase the text by holding your backspace key. You will just have to get out of the habit of pressing the esc key to erase the text and instead take your time to erase it.  :-\
