I would like to raise a concern regarding recent behavior observed within the community.

During a recent event on Discord, an administrator publicly discussed a punishment given (or intended to be given) to a player who had allegedly behaved in a racist manner. While I fully support taking action against inappropriate or discriminatory behavior, I find it highly unprofessional and inappropriate to discuss such disciplinary matters openly in a public or semi-public setting.

Administrative actions should be handled with discretion and professionalism. Publicly talking about punishments in this way can create unnecessary drama, damage trust, and reflect poorly on the standards of the administration team.

I strongly encourage the admin team to handle such matters more privately in the future and to maintain a higher level of professionalism when dealing with sensitive issues.

Regarding your concern.
1. The punishment that was given, who it was given to, and what it was for, had not been initially discussed by administrators. These were brought up when non-admins had mentioned the person directly as that person was messaging several people about his ban. All of the initial conversation between myself and Julia was me letting her know that a person would be messaging her. Most administrative actions are handled privately, however reaching out to several people when an action is bestowed is never a good idea if your intent is to keep things confidential. There is a reason the rules state to directly message Head Admin/Dev & Ops for appeals to bans.
2. If your concern is that administrative actions should be handled privately, why have you made a public post? The better option would be to reach out to the Head Admin, or in this case since the incident involves the Head Admin, then the next step should be someone from the Dev & Ops team.
3. Unban requests are also supposed to be posted directly to the forum. Generally privacy is not given to banned players, especially not for repeat offenders.
