[Open] Loot and Legendary Items

This is the truth from my point of view:

Most of those who complain about low loot chances simply play the game much less and less efficiently than others. They only do a few runs a day, are the first to leave when lag starts, and are often not very active in helping to finish the run quickly.

Still, they compare themselves to others who sometimes have 150+ hours in the last two weeks. At that point, it’s no longer “mathematically based” reasoning but purely subjective.

In the end, it mainly comes down to how much you play and how you play during that time. If you spend more time chatting or doing other things instead of killing enemies and supporting the run, you’ll get fewer bot kills per hour than an active player. This indirectly lowers your loot chance.

The same applies to kiting. If someone enjoys kiting, that’s perfectly fine, but a kiter will gain significantly fewer assist XP lines per hour than someone in an active, full run.

Many also think members of certain houses have higher loot chances. However, this is only indirectly true. If you play your 6-hour weekly events as efficiently as possible and push public runs forward quickly, you indirectly increase your loot chances. There’s no “super ID.”

So the solution: it’s a grind game; so grind as efficiently as possible! Play actively, help your team, and thereby help yourself and your loot chances. If you prefer to enjoy the game differently, that’s totally fine but then don’t complain about lower loot.

And of course, some people will always be luckier than others. No system in the world can change that. Even though this post comes from someone who has probably been luckier than average (around 1500–2000 hours NI and 44 loots), I still ask you to evaluate it based on its content.
