Hi guys,
I had to reformat my computer, and even though I formatted a different drive than the one the game is on, when I launch the game now I cannot see my character any more.
Where does the game store the file by default?
I can still log into my account online, so is there any way to get my character file back?

Just create a new one with the same name, connect on server and voila!!

The game character is just a "figurine". It doesnt actually link to anything. I have to computers, both with Warband with the same CD key and both have the character MrGuarnere and they look different, but they link to the same account.
So like Blondin said, create a new char with the same name and you're good to go.

It links to your CD key so use the same key
