Debated about making this thread, but while it's on mind I guess I should just say it
Relatively simple request that doesn't even affect me at this point. I made 6 or 7 heroes this year over all the classes I was able to get my hands on the best gear almost possible for tr4. I probably have a bit of a unique perspective given I did it all so fast vs over the years people normally do it
Inf is balanced around having the best armour and over the years has seen many buffs at a hero level that may of not all come down the line fairly? More so then that honestly is Orange legendaries being penetrator, hurricane, Db all work great with low armour. Its not like there is any orange armour huh I know that was a thing maybe planned at one point but we'll there isn't
Torch I found was the best for inf but.. ye low armour makes it extremely risky to use
In theory inf should be the quickest or at least the same time to level with the XP multiplier but that simply wasn't the case for me not even needed to put any xp into ranged for the other classes. Getting kills was that easy being on top of the score board as tr4 as sniper or pike or xbow on rag but I had no chance to do that as inf not even close
I'm not even sure what it needs but in my time playing think it wouldn't hurt to give tr3 and tr4 extra HP like the heroes have?
Not even going to suggest anything else honestly

also make sentry and zweis have very long swords similar to pikes and buff sentry athletics plsss

400 long or I'm double stacking cades and destroying them because it was "just an accident"

I will say what made me post this was reflecting on the fact this was the first time ever in I want to say 8 or 9 years maybe Ive been red text in game
Being tr3 infantry you are that bad people question what are you even doing.
Picking up a bow or throwing weapons doing 1 damage isn't going to help the team as much as holding a tome knowing this run isn't going to make it with only a few cades on wave 11 hard

The only ways to "buff" hp are via strength, iron flesh, or green bar.
I'm pretty sure strength is tied to character level and can't be increased beyond the value of 30 that a character gets by level 52.
Iron flesh was just buffed back in January for T2, T3, and T4 inf. I don't think any more IF could be added to those lower tiers without rebalancing IF on the inf heros since juggerzwei already hits the max value of 15.
Could add green bar to T4 I guess, but I don't know that it would be very noticeable.
Following the current infantry armour scheme, I don't think there's enough room to add in an orange armour tier. There's only a spread of 8 armour rating from blue player craft to red legendary. Could maybe make the general house craft armours (Heraldic trans, half plate) available to T4, but I really don't think it would make any noticeable difference.
The main thing I've noticed with inf is that it is so far removed from the other classes in terms of play style. They don't have much of anything for ranged weapon skills, they don't get light armour for kiting, and they don't get long pikes to keep melee enemys away from themselves. Since they have to be up close and meleeing enemies, they really kinda need other melee around them providing support. I don't think there's any buff, or weapon, or armour that would help the average T3/T4 inf player stand out in a server full of kiting/ranged players.

No I don't think it will do a lot but that's kinda the point isn't it it's tr3 and tr4 they shouldn't do too much to begin with

I highly doubt we will ever see any that's why I suggested extra HP however the existence of Worm bane shows a potential for a "useable by all" armour that actually has better stats then all the dresses that people use
Even something like that while being a bit of a gimmick would be something I guess

RG and Zwei have ok ish xbow skill the problem is if you aren't Rg or Zwei you are tr4 with only snipers and pikes on your team
You are practically dead weight and I don't think there much that would be done to fix that. Extra HP at least allows a tr4/tr3 inf to risk death a bit more training the skill they are actually going towards rather then coping effectively throwing no damage
