cant get into game with right caricature

my friend cant get on a server with his caricatures but can use them on the website anyone know what he can do to fix this?

Does he see a message in-game asking him to activate his characters?

Sounds to me like a case of different names in warband v website. Can you ask him to make sure both names are identical and to be careful with the use of special characters. Warband hates punctuation...

i thought that too but he can see every thing on the website but when he trys to get in game it tell him to a activate with same name as he always used

its swearengen he said its differently the same as the website and its doing it to all his people

Did he reinstall Warband or switch Steam accounts?  (In other words, could his Warband activation key have changed?  Assuming there are no mistypes in his name, that seems the likely cause.)

yes he has re-installed mount&blade warband if it has given him a different activation key is there any way to get his characters?
