Don´t know if anyone of you two noticed, but the recipe of a normal barricade is the following:

Crafting: Build a Barricade (Apprentice)
Items Required:

    50 x Basic Wood (0 / 50)
    20 x Scrap Metal (0 / 20)
    10 x Mixed Glue (0 / 10)
    4 x Construction Tools (0 / 4)

Item Created:

    1 x Barricade


-> So, you probably need 4 more Construction Tools unless you just forgot to mention them.

Just switch to the Defender Houscrafting tab in the document, recipe lvl 4
