Character is gone

Today I was trying to join a server when the game client crashed and was left frozen on my screen, forcing me to reboot my computer.  After restarting it, I opened up Warband and the NordInvasion mod and my character is no longer there.  But I can still long on as the character at the website, is there anyway for me to recover my character on my computer?  Thanks.

Just create a new character with the same name, it's tied to your cdkey and multiplayer name. So if you make a character with the same name as your NI character you will get the gear and stats you always had.
