I stopped playing this game/mod as I saw some hackers around.

I  have a ton of hours in that game. If you are playing solo consider playing a dayz mod like DayZ Origins or Dayz Epoch.

Both of these mods give you the ability to build a base, and safely store items and gear which is nice. Dayz Origins is a personal favourite.

Just waiting for DayZ Standalone to start putting some effort into their development. I'll be playing that alot once they fix some major bugs, but its coming along quite nice.
