When a hero joins the server it should say "A Hero Has Entered The Battle" in a special colored text.

Well, there are quiet many heroes ingame, and being a hero doesn't mean having good gear. Or which other intention was it supposed to have?

I agree that it would be great to have that. It will also simulate players to become hero as well.

Yes, please also add fireworks whenever someone with a SHC joins, a parade if someone with a barrel joins, and if a hero with a tome joins, that day should be turned into a international holiday.

But yeah, being a hero isn't particularly special. Seeing more heroes wouldn't "s[t]imulate" me (nor many people I know) into getting more.

If a hero joins a normal run and all the redshirts see the "a hero has joined a game" it would get them excited and give them something more to look forward to so maybe if this feature was only on normal

It will give them excitement for 5 mins until they discover that "hero" can't play for shit and dies on wave 6. Gear is what matters, not being hero, some 4/2 build are just or nearly as good as hero classes. I just think it's uneccessary, people will discover fast enough that you wreck shit if you are well enough equipped to slaughter the shit out of the waves or tank for ages with your shield.
Appareantly I gave most of my loot chance to Fara. Mostly AFG, rise from the ashes from time to time.

The best way to counteract the crappy geared heroes would be to make it run off like a gear score instead of a gold requirement for the hero class. Which some people might actually prefer as it can be a pain in the arse to scrape together 750k and spend it whilst gaining no assets that can be resold to recoup losses

But then what would you classify as good gear?
