Stucking in preparation time bug

I'm sure most of you already know this bug. You wanna join in a Rag or what ever it is run, you spawn and you get all the exp. After the spawn wave you are suddenly stuck in the prep time of the next wave and with that you wont get any exp or drops anymore. Some say restart the game, other say rejoin, some other guy says you gotta suicide, and someone else is telling you that you got to get some kills to fix the bug. Is there anyone out there that knows a fix for this annoying bug? Is there a way to avoid it?

EDIT: Tried a restart of the game, didnt fix the bug though. Also changed the char but that didnt fix it either.

Being stuck in Preparation time is the current spawn bug problem.  Kip was looking into this problem last I heard.

And put out a patch to fix this this afternoon.
