Right now, I'm in the mood for Deep Purple and Rainbow.  There are so many good songs to listen to in this selection.    I recommend - Knocking at your back door, Perfect Strangers, Burn, Smoke on the water by DP and the entire live album of Rainbow live in Munich.  RJD is just so damn good on vocals, well he has always been overlooked. Jon Lord (rip) is a master of keyboards and what else can you say about him - nice guy in RL.  Ritche Blackmore may be an intellectual dwarf (Ian's words) ; but he can play a guitar like few others.  Cozy Powell (rip) was a fantastic drummer!  Sadly, he died in an automobile accident.  He played on 99 albums.  Ian Gillian's vocals are fantastic, and despite his long dispute with Richie, they made some of the best songs ever while together as a band.

So give DP and Rainbow a try.  Good jams!
