In his defense he chop them down because people were plugging up slasher spots.  He doing a good service. Without slasher areas we are doomed.

Doesn't matter if the barricade are well placed or not, unless you're the owner of it, you do NOT attack baricades (unless it's blocking healing pot, ammo, shrine, etc.. (common sense).
