I made it a bit big because i thought that NI might need a map or two a bit bigger. About the kiting i did see that it would be kitable which is why i havent put protection from ranged along the walls so kiting players will always be under fire but this can be fixed to not be kitable. I dont know how to do the AI mesh but i will try and figure it out. And i will add more detail into the parts that you suggested thanks. The name was literally i have no idea and threw somet out there to see what people might think the name would be haha, indeed the name ive suggested already is haha.

Note: These images do not include the fog i intend the map to be in so that there is a clear view of the changed and i will update the first post to allow for the updated download.
Alphas recommendations have been completed although there could still be work done im just waiting to see what the devs think of the map. Furthermore, i do not know how to do the AI mesh and need some help with that and what to do etc.
With the AI mesh, it's basically a guide that leads the bots to the player and prevents them from trying to run through walls to reach the player. There are 3 different modes for the mesh, they can be moved as with any prop. Use the create new face to make a new panel of the mesh. The vertex mode moves corners, edge mode moves one side of the plate, and the face mode moves the whole panel. Look at the ni maps and their meshed to see how they work. Also as Alpha said, remember the barriers, they need to be EVERYWhere so that the players don't glitch or have cades stuck in props and other nasty stuff.

Thank you very much for the advice and i will doing that once i have done this post. As for the barriers i only didnt show them in the images because the barriers are for the devs to see and the images are to show the map in a more beautiful way. I have already added them in and its all done except for the mesh. Note: AI Mesh has been completed thanks again

AI mesh is the boring task in the map making. Good luck with the devs now, hope you will continue to make some other creations.

I'll check it out and test at the next time in testings. After those I can tell more if it needs fixing, something else or if it is good to go. |
