We didn't get screenshot proof but my cousin, character name Luna, T4 Sharpshooter, got a Bolt Tosser yesterday, wave 18 Hard Mode from a Mercenary Ballistaman.
Fact that a T4 newb has a Bolt Tosser is proof enough right?

Tell him to at least take a screenshot of his inventory. That way we can confirm that he at least has one, even if we can't confirm that it dropped from a mercenary ballistaman.
