Advantages

i think it is good for new players(they know they gain assist points from assist)
and its good to know distance from someone to get assist

Best Solution

From time to time Sum all Assist points and print only ounce

I think this is a good point though. Quite a few new players might think they don't get any exp and will be confused.

I think a summary might be a good idea, maybe when you die or the round ends?

How about a total assist and regular exp gained message after the round is over? (or you die)

Of course you will still get it and it will be up to date on your profile on the website, however we believe it will both help to improve the performance of the game by reducing latency and allow you to clearly see chat / other events and notifications which may be missed otherwise.

Normal Kill notifications will still show up as normal, as will looting notifications etc., this would only effect assist notifications.

I would say that the average person would like to see that Blue mess because it gives that sense of accomplishment the game is designed for. Just the same as the kill notification. It allows you to see form one you got experience and two it allows you the gratification of getting it. The main point of playing really any game is that feeling of gratification. That little blue message for me personally gives me that feeling of actually doing something useful. If you don't want it turn off report experience.....
