One can check out all of the different houses and corresponding lorein the steam group, but the house lore that I will be showing is House Vynn(Main house)
House Vynn - Chief house and clan of the Glendorian nation. All houses and clans owe their allegiance to this ancient house which can trace it's ancestry back to the original Dawnlords of the Cage. House Vynn owes it's kingship right to their ancestors ancient great fleet which was once used to rescue other houses, and clans from the destruction of their homeland as it's once great oceans drained into unknown lands. The ancient Glendors refered to their homeland as the "Cage" as it was bordered on all sides by impassable mountains which contained many island continents and oceans. It is said to have been over a thousand years since a great shaking of the earth caused a section of the Cage's mountains to split, causing it's oceans to drain through it. This event is traditionaly called the "Great Tide" or the "Terrible Tide" depending on which faith of the Glendors you practice. Whether this event was a positive thing, or negative is disputable amongst the theologians of Glendor. What is not disputable is that House Vynn rose to power on this ancient "Tide" and all the houses and clans of Glendor owe their survival, and thus allegiance, to the Vynn.
Long before the Great, or Terrible Tide, House Vynn was once a primitive polytheistic clan like all the ancient houses of Vynnland before they converted to the new faith. The Vynn took their name from the ancient Glendorian word for water, ever the seafaring people as long as oral and recorded history can recount. The Vynn had always been set apart from their kinsmen on the larger islands of the Vynnland due to their geographic isolation in the middle of the midvynn. Rather than taking to raiding, and pillaging for their living like other small island people's do, the Vynn took to trading, and commerce for a living. The other ancient clans of Glendor, though almost alway hostile to one another, treated the Vynn with a mild respect. The Vynn could provide access to goods, and materials that others could not since they maintained good trading relations with all the clans of Glendor. If a clan of the Glendorians harmed the Vynn merchants, they soon found themselves under supplied, and their rival clans over supplied with goods, food stuffs, weapons, and armors. The Vynn welcomed trade with all, and there is a reason others welcomed it back.
