according to the website usable by man at arms, sharpshooter.

EDIT: level 9 armoursmith, sturdy spiked banded leather gave me 311xp. usable by heavy longbowman, sniper. (xp seemed high, so i made it again just incase. it is indeed 311.)

Finally crafted the lv 14 pikeman armor after selling my swadian hope. "Craft Pikeman's Heavy Plated Vest" xp: 676.

Why Rough Smallring leather at craft lvl 12 has only 35 body armor and Red Tunic Over Mail on craft lvl 8 has 40 body armor?

Rough smallring leather is a sniper only armour, while the red tunic over mail is an infantry specific armour. Because infantry are constantly getting hit their armour needs to provide more protection.

But all archers will wear Tunic because it's cheaper and better
