Tournaments and duels

Monthly tournaments for the king's champion? Need to have a certain amount of faction standings in order to do so.

Beating someone else in a duel could reduce their faction standing because of less confidence of their fighting skill. Could also be friendly duels where winner gets one of the other person's items.

How is that friendly?

Both people agree to the duel I meant. Then the items are decided upon. Where is the other you challenge and they risk losing some face by declining or losing in battle.

I was thinking that a friendly duel would a duel without any consequences

That could be in there as well but native already has that instituted in their duel matches.
